Applying to 3D interaction platform using developed 3D cubic human machine interaction tool, the interaction platform combined with GE is designed and developed. This virtual world exploration platform with body interaction technology could achieve 3D cubic navigation in space using gesture and help people to virtually explore the world in a relatively effective and fast way, which could be used for world culture and heritageor world travel exploration and experience.

Different technological methods of platform construction are implemented: KML-update, Local machine, and Web-based. The evaluation results show that local machine platform is more friendly, stable and easier to use.

To realize more natural interaction with fewer cognition loads and put constructivist learning methodology to spatial thinking improvement practice, we apply our designed and developed 3D gesture communicational globe tool integrated with CHR-6dm AHRS, ZigBee and virtual globe – GE technology to geography teaching and lessons. The series of spatial thinking training are interpreted. This work advises that spatial thinking skill could be promoted through virtual globe learning system with more natural, direct HCI method and active learning method with more actual participation. This product with spatial thinking training cases is being tested by students came from primary schools and Universities, and their feedbacks are positive and active. Some of the requirements for transferable skills could be achieved via the appropriateconstruction and use of game-based learning and virtual reality environments.
